Review
Let me start by saying that I only read Enthusiasm because I was currently reading Pride and Prejudice. In short, this book is about an enthusiast named Ashley who becomes obsessed with Pride and Prejudice to the point that she dresses and talks in that era.
Now, for the review: I liked the premise of enthusiasts. I've never become obsessed with anything to Ashley's degree (except for a couple of fanfictions), but I liked toying with the idea of devoting onself to a hobby or item.
In my opinion, the author did a wonderful job of creating the enthusiast classification of people. However, that's about it. The book starts quickly and is novel-standard, but the plot moved slowly. The main reason why I didn't stop reading this book was that it was a modern day Pride and Prejudice.
I'm not actually promoting this book- it's okay, but not great. It's basically mediocre, and I don't really understand why it was published.
