This book is very special. Not only it tells the story of the lone orphan, Oliver, but also unfolds the harsh reality of the hardships faced by the children & orphans at that time, which we don't hear about so much . From the time Oliver was first introduced into the story line, to the time the story had a happy ending, the story was never low on suspense and emotional impacts, Hence I recommend this book to all teen readers(it may be hard to understand for children).
