These kiss and tell books make for some very good reading, but to actually read about Uzbekistan's former British Ambassador makes you want to punch the guy. Your employer is the British Civil Service whom are inturn employed by the government. The last thing you should be doing as an Ambassador is to criticise your own government, and some things which governments do need to be kept away from public knowledge not sending classified emails to every tom, dick and harry.
