Review
Orphan's Quest is about a teenager, orphan named Rokey. He has spent is life in a monastery in the country of Firma and does not know anything regarding his past before his life in the monastery. Through the tragic events that lead to the death of the Abbott of the monastery, Rokey is exiled from his monastery home.
He roams in the land of Firma looking for work and shelter when he meets up with an interesting band of outcasts. The band consists of an elf, giant, mercenary and a fair maiden. Rokey joins this band of friends and after an attack on their lives they realize that someone is after Rokey. Rokey and his friends go on a quest to find out who is trying to kill/kidnap Rokey.
The author gives each of these characters a tragic background as to why they are considered outcasts. Each of the main characters are funny and lovable in their own way.
The author puts a lot of humor in this book and makes it a very fun and easy read. However, if you are looking for a gay fantasy book with sexual content, this has none. It just as homosexual kisses and hugs and that is about it.
Fantasy rating: 7/10 stars: 10 being excellent.
Sexual content: PG-13 rated.
