Review

One of the best if not the best historical writers I have had the pleasure to read his books. This latest book details the first ever aircraft bombing raids in the first world war aginst Britain. It is a real eye opener of what the German aircrew must have felt to have been in an open cockpit freezing to death in unreliable planes made of light wood and bits of string to fly across to London and attempt to bomb it.
