Trocchi was a Scottish scumbag and writer. When he hung about in Paris he edited the literary magazine MERLIN. When he lived in New York he took drugs and pimped out his arse. He wrote this book pre-New York to make some cash - it's a cracker. Rich in colour and texture and too sexy for words.
