I received a recommendation to get a copy of this book and thought I'd just pop onto Amazon and grab a copy.

Sadly, it's out of print.

For some reason I decided to go on a quest. I searched high and low for a copy of this book. I finally found one and paid a handsome price for a used copy.

Worth every penny.

This book is a writer's dream. It's a giant word menu of sayings and similes that give writing a wonderful flavor. My copy is now filled with PostIt slivers for sections I reuse on a regular basis. It looks like a very flat porcupine.
