Title: WTH? Really no idea how it came. The English title I can understand but Busted? (yes, that's the dutch title). Perhaps they thought of that whilest reading about the 'adventures' of one of the main characters? Really no idea ...
Then the subtitle "What to do if the chance of revenge is within reach?" What revenge? I haven't seen any revenge. Anyone know?
Then there are 3 main characters, each a book in the book. 2 out of 3 are written in first person, the third in the third person (LOL). I found that very confusing.
And then ... Why do i have to read the same piece of text twice? First, if something happened and then when it happens to the person in the book that is written. Hello? Is that really necessary? Or, did the writer decide to write so many words and this was that the only way to gat to that limit?
Finally: The books that are written in this book(confused yet? Try to read it...) sound so bad that I do not think they ever are going to be published (although? This book is published... ). Mimi's remedies still sounds reasonable, but the other two? Terrible. There are few books based on real life and good enough to be published.
The Sunday Times wrote (about this book?): "Very funny." Did I miss something? Or don't I have a sense of humor? I could not laugh. Wanted to throw the book into a corner several times because it is so fricking sweet (your teeth are going to fall out) and unbelievable.
On the back is still a piece about the writer, Marian Keyes. Wonderful that her books are published in 35 countries and 9 million copies sold. But she is proud of the fact that she can't cook? And that she is addicted to chocolate and beautiful shoes? I think so, because otherwise, the addition of these facts, doesn't bring anything.
Please do not think when reading this, because then you get angry. Sorry, Marian, it sucked. Big time!
