Description
In an age where image is everything, Thomas Goodfellowe MP is not doing that well. Banned for drink-driving, hopelessly overdrawn and trying to manage a rebellious teenage, he has his hands completely full. When one of his neighbours, a young Chinese girl, is wrongly arrested for drugs and prostitution, it is Goodfellowe she turns to. His instinct to help those in need lands him in serious trouble - with the police, the Prime Minister, and with newspaper magnate Freddie Corsa. Trying to keep a low profile is difficult, especially since Corsa is out to ruin Goodfellowe financially, politically, sexually and above all publicly - on the front pages of his newspapers.
